On Friday our sweet girl was given the best surprise by the students of Hoover High School! They worked and put together a science fair yesterday that was secretly a reveal that they have granted her a wish through Magic Moments. Lily will get to spend a week at Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, and will be able to visit the parks while she is there. She was so surprised - she had no idea! We are so grateful and humbled by such a generous gift.
We were also interviewed this weekend by Rick Karle, a reporter for one of our local news organizations. He wrote a story about our family. I have included the link for the story below:
This weekend was a great way to get ready for the next phase of Lilyś treatment. For the next portion, we will be at the clinic once, and sometimes twice a week.
As you pray for Lily and our family, please pray that Lily will tolerate the chemo and that the side effects will be minimal.
