It's Been a Minute

It has been a minute since we updated, so I thought I would try and post an update on our girl. We have been so busy over the last couple of weeks with chemo and Lily has had multiple appointments each week. Once she started feeling better, we also tried to spend time with our family, see a few friends, and go to Church. Lily has also been trying really hard to catch up on school.

We have started the next phase of her chemo. This week we were in clinic on Monday, today, and will be there again Friday. This particular chemo comes as a shot, two or three at a time. We are so thankful that the nurses in the clinic work together so that she gets the shots at the same time! She also has to be in clinic every 10 days for another type of chemo.

Lily also had an appointment with the neurologist yesterday as a followup to the stroke like episode she had early in the year. We are so happy to report that she has been cleared and we don't have to return for another visit!

So many of you have been so supportive over these past months as we have walked this road with our sweet girl. You have brought meals, prayed for us, sent cards, dropped off gifts - the list goes on and on. We are so grateful. Please know, we are continually amazed by your faithfulness and generosity. "I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you." Philippians 1:3.

We are really excited to let you know that we are making a T-Shirt to show Lily how much we love and support her. The shirt is light purple with her favorite Bible verse on the front. The cost of the shirt is $20, and you can email me at cbeam@ymail.com for more information or to order a shirt.

As you think of us this week, please pray that Lily will continue to tolerate the chemo and that it is doing exactly what it is designed to do.

Thank you for loving and supporting our family.
